Princeton’s Laura Wooten, Nation’s Longest-Serving Poll Worker, Dies at 98

Laura Wooten, a lifelong Princeton, NJ resident who held the record for longest continuous service as a pollworker, died recently at the age of 98. She was a passionate believer in democracy and an advocate for voting as a means of effecting change in the community.
